Although she travelled smoothly in the early stages under Oisin Murphy  - to take up a good position through to halfway at the bottom end of the track - Sweet Charity really did not like the much harder ground up the hill towards the straight. With the going having become firm, following the strong winds over the weekend, she didn't let herself down at the business end of the race and she will now seek some better ground once the forecast rain has arrived, and she will be sure to do better on proper autumn ground.
