At Lingfield on Wednesday Juanita's wide draw meant that she had to race a little further back in the field and a lot wider than ideal on the turns under Charlie Bishop. With the surface riding quite slow in the warm weather, it was clear that making up ground was far from easy and the front pair in the race got well clear entering the home straight. Sporting the hood once again Juanita finished very fast to pass a rival and close on the second group by the line, but she will be seen to better advantage reverting to a straight track on the turf once the going is suitable for her again.
