Ruskin Red with a very good second at Lingfield Park
Connections were delighted with the run of Ruskin Red over twelve furlongs at Lingfield on Wednesday, held up towards the rear of the field by jockey David Egan. Well supported in the markets, the Mastercraftsman gelding finished his race off powerfully, closing all the way down the straight after taking a wide course turning in and then hanging a little to the left at the top of his run home. By the line he found only one horse just a length up on him, and he should be winning again very soon.
In other news, Supersonique has been sold out of the yard and will be heading over to Rathbarry Stud, Cork this coming weekend.
