Ground changed against Bobby Kennedy but GOLDEN PHASE STEPPED UP FOR SECOND WIN !
At Bath yesterday, a sunny, dry and breezy day led to a going change being announced in the afternoon, so that by evening racing the track was riding much too fast for Bobby Kennedy. He is unable to quicken from that surface, so this time he was in rear and never a factor, finishing ninth and beaten a dozen lengths. The faster ground was not a problem for Golden Phase, however, and the Gustav Klimt filly finished strongly under Hollie Doyle to prove that the extra quarter mile was no problem for her as she readily marked her second track win under a fine ride. West Ilsley Platinum were highly delighted to gain another prize, and they perhaps have more 'golds' to look forward to with this filly.
