On the third day of Book 2 at the October Yearling Sales for Tattersalls at Newmarket, Denis was delighted to purchase a very handsome and athletic looking Earthlight colt for local owner Mrs Chris Young. With the group winning sire being a son of Shamardal this will particularly please Chris, whose two year old filly Sharma d'Amour has the same grandsire and who has had such a pleasing introduction to her track action this year. The colt's dam Samite was unraced, but she has already been responsible for the triple winner and multiple placed Wind Your Neck In, and the yearling colt has another three year old half brother who has won in Ireland just this week. The Earthlight yearling really caught Denis and Chris's eye in the sales ring, and he is due to make his arrival into Keeper's Stables today.
