At Kempton Oisin Murphy reported that My Fermoy ran very green in the early part of his race, but once he got the hang of things straightening up he flew home to secure third place for his first racecourse run. The step up to a mile should soon see him winning and he has all the makings of a good horse.

At Newbury Una Loughrey's Star Of Dubai had her first run for the yard, and travelled really well after being held up in last for the first part of the race. Making great strides forward from three furlongs out she looked to be right there to challenge, and just got a little bit tired inside the last half furlong to come home in third. Ron Hornby was very pleased with her and she should be capable of winning a good few races for connections.
